Users interact with OmniDrive via OmniLive, Omniprise's key companion software.

OmniLive authenticates users and continues to run, even when the Omniprise application is not open.
When OmniLive connects to the server, a shared drive is accessible on the local file system.

Permissions may be set on specific files or folders and applied to many files and folders at once.
Permission settings are integrated into Omniprise to provide flexible and easy-to-use access.
Files may be secured by setting permissions by employee, employee group, employee class, division, department and/or location.
For example, if an employee is moved from one location to another company location, access to certain files may be easily transferred.

Full virus protection is included to maintain the highest level of data integrity.
If a virus is placed on the shared drive, OmniDrive will immediately quarantine the virus to prevent potential spread of the virus.
Relax knowing the virus database is updated nightly to protect against new vulnerabilities.
- Nightly Off-site Backup

Automate off-site backup for added peace-of-mind.
All files are stored on a remote server for seven days.
No need to change backup tapes or USB drives; this is an automatic process that occurs each night.
If a backup is unsuccessful, an alert is immediately sent so necessary adjustments may be made.
