OmniDrive is a virtual hard drive, located directly on the Omniprise web server for storing and backing up files.
Users interact with OmniDrive via OmniLive, Omniprise's key companion software.
Users can interact with OmniDrive just like a local storage device. Files can be retrieved from anywhere in the world via a secure network connection.

OmniLive is used to authenticate user and continues to run, even while the main Omniprise application is not open.
When OmniLive connects to the server, a shared drive is created on the local file system.

When away from the office, remote access is automatically connected seamlessly and securely so that users always have access to the files they need.
No need to connect to a VPN or remote to your computer, the shared drive is always available when OmniLive is connected, inside the office and out.

- Complete Permission control

With OmniDrive, all files are protected by permissions. Permissions may be set on specific files or folders and even applied to many files and folders at once. Permission settings are integrated into Omniprise to provide flexible and easy-to-use access. Files may be secured by setting permissions by employee, employee group, employee class, division, department, and/or location. For example, if an employee is moved from one location to another company location, access to certain files may be automatically granted.

With OmniDrive, full virus protection is included to maintain the highest level of data integrity. If a virus is placed on the shared drive, OmniDrive will immediately quarantine the virus to prevent potential spread of the virus. Rest easy as the virus database is updated nightly to protect against new vulnerabilities.
- Nightly Off-site Backup

Automate off-site backup for peace-of-mind. All files are stored on a remote server for seven days. No need to change backup tapes or USB drives; this is an automatic process that occurs each night. If a backup is unsuccessful, an alert will be sent immediately so the proper corrections can be made.

Omnidrive is integrated into Microsoft© Windows© to allow setting file and folder permissions easily. No need to load up a special program to set permissions. OmniDrive makes share files simple, with easy-to-understand settings and security.
- Web Based Access

When users are away from their computer and need access to documents, any files added to the network drive are accessible via the internet with the web based document browser.
